Live work projects allow students in MNTC's Carpentry program to practice their skills for real clients. The students can take on a wide range of indoor and outdoor assignments including general construction and one-of-a-kind custom projects like sheds, outdoor playhouses, furniture, kitchen cabinets, etc. All live work is done by current MNTC students under the supervision of an instructor. Projects are done at cost plus a small shop supply fee. There is no charge for labor. For larger items, customers must arrange for pick-up from MNTC's Franklin Road campus located at 4701 12th Avenue NW in Norman.
A limited number of live work projects can be accepted each semester. At this time our live work calendar is full through February 2017.
To submit a live work project for consideration, please email Instructor Mark Estell or call (405) 364-5763 x6226.
