About Us

Established in 1972, Moore Norman Technology Center, School District No. 17 is viewed as one of the nation's premier educational and training institutions. MNTC is one of 29 technology centers within Oklahoma's globally-recognized CareerTech System. With an emphasis on experiential learning and hands-on training, adult and high school students gain meaningful career and technical skills that, in most cases, lead to state and national certifications and employment. MNTC also provides professional business consultation and training to area companies and has an award-winning Business Development Center on campus to help entrepreneurs in the early phases of business-building. The MNTC district includes the communities of Norman, Moore and south Oklahoma City.

Long-Term Programs

MNTC offers over 30 Career Programs you can complete in 2-4 semesters (1,050 class hours or more). These programs require an application for admission.

Short-Term Classes

MNTC offers hundreds of short-term classes you can complete in 600 hours or less. These classes do not require an application, but some may require prerequisites.
