The board of education values the health and safety of technology center employees and students. Accordingly, the district will comply with all applicable state and federal health and safety laws. The board will establish, through the superintendent, healthful and safe working and teaching conditions, and safe work practices and methods.
The superintendent is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, and for establishing necessary procedures and positions to carry out this compliance including but not limited to: the establishment of a comprehensive district safety program, a written chemical hazard communications plan, and a bloodborne pathogen exposure control plan.
