The Moore Norman Technology Center is home to over 250 full-time faculty and staff. We also employ well over 100 adjunct instructors and part-time staff members. Health Insurance - The Oklahoma State and Education Employees Group Insurance Plan offers a variety of insurance plans to choose from. Coverage for dependents is available for an additional cost. This plan allows employees covered under a spouse's medical plan an option. Funds normally used to pay the employee's insurance premium can be placed in a tax-sheltered annuity or applied toward optional dental or life insurance coverage for dependents. Paid 100% by employer.
Dental Insurance - Our dental program through the State and Education Employees Group Insurance Plan provides diagnostic, preventive, restorative and orthodontic services. Coverage for dependents is available for an additional cost. Paid 100% by employer.
Life Insurance - Moore Norman provides employees with a $50,000 basic term policy and $50,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) plan. Additional coverage is available. Paid 100% by employer.
Vision - Our vision plan allows members an annual examination at no charge and discount on eyewear. Paid 100% by employer.
Retirement - Retirement is available through the Oklahoma Teachers' Retirement System for full-time employees. Paid 100% by employer.
0-5 years=10 days of annual leave
5-10 years=15 days of annual leave
10+ years=20 days of annual leave
Sick Leave - Employees accrue one day per contract month. A person transferring directly from another public school district can transfer up to 60 days.
Personal Leave - Employees accrue up to six days a year for personal business. Unused leave is automatically transferred to the individual’s sick leave account on June 30. No more than 24 hrs will transfer to the individual's sick leave account.
Holidays - Moore Norman observes 13 holidays per year.
Short-Course Tuition - Business and Industry Services offers more than 300 short-term classes at no charge to the employee and half price for dependents.
Cafeteria Plan - Under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), pre-tax dollars can be set aside for out-of-pocket medical expenses or childcare costs.
Direct Deposit- Direct deposit of your paycheck can be made to your local bank account.
Employee Assistance Program - The EAP provides employees and immediate family members counseling and referral assistance for personal or job related difficulties.

The Human Resources Office accepts full-time and part-time applications when a position has been advertised and/or posted online.
- Applications for short-term teaching positions or substituting are accepted at any time.
- An application form must be on file in order to apply for any position.
- Minimum qualifications are identified on the job description, available upon request through the Human Resources Department.
