Established in 1972, Moore Norman Technology Center, School District No. 17 is viewed as one of the nation's premier educational and training institutions. MNTC is one of 29 technology centers within Oklahoma's globally-recognized CareerTech System.

Explanation of Offerings

MNTC places an emphasis on experiential learning and hands-on training. Adult and high school students gain meaningful career and technical skills that, in most cases, lead to state and national certifications and employment.

Classes 600 Hours or Less

MNTC offers hundreds of classes you can complete in 600 hours or less. These classes do not require an application, but some may require prerequisites.

1,050+ Hour Career Programs

MNTC offers over 30 Career Programs you can complete in 2-4 semesters (1,050 class hours or more). These programs require an application for admission.

MNTC provides professional business consultation and training to area companies to help entrepreneurs in the early phases of business-building. The MNTC district includes the communities of Norman, Moore and south Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma’s Career and Technology Education System is focused on developing a world-class workforce. Oklahoma CareerTech delivers educational experiences through a network of 396 K-12 school districts, 29 technology center districts, 16 skills center sites and 30 adult basic education providers. CareerTech’s ultimate goal is to improve Oklahoma’s economy by providing individuals with the training and skills necessary to be successful in the workplace and providing companies with the required workforce necessary to compete globally.
