Moore Norman Technology Center promotes continued educational opportunities with Moore Public School and Norman Public School districts. District employees may be eligible to use the Educator Discount for some short term classes. In order to be eligible for the tuition discount, an individual must be a full time employee of Moore or Norman Public Schools at the time of enrollment. There is some required documentation to submit when applying to use the discount.
This program is great for educators and district employees ready to learn for personal or professional growth. Our Short Term classes are designed to be affordable and timely to fit into your schedule. Browse through all the short term classes available to find some that can be completed in one day, or up to one semester. The choice is yours!
Do you qualify for the program benefits?
Read through the Course Tuition Benefits (Non-Employees), Policy No. 481 to have a better understanding of the qualifications. Eligible learners may receive a reduction of fifty percent (50%) on the cost of tuition in short term classes. This discount does not apply to books, materials, supplies, etc. Some courses, such as online classes, may not be eligible for this discount.
What other conditions apply to this benefit?
- Discount for tuition must be requested at time of enrollment.
- Proof of eligibility must be submitted at time of enrollment.
- Learners must purchase books, study materials, and supplies required for the class, workshop, or seminar.
- MNTC may discontinue offering this benefit at any time in the discretion of the board; however, such discontinuation will not affect individuals who are enrolled in the program at the time the decision to discontinue the program is made. Individuals who fraudulently obtain a tuition discount under this program will be required to repay the tuition discounted, will be removed from enrollment at MNTC and will be ineligible for future enrollment at MNTC.
