MNTC Hosts a Spring Blood Drive on March 25.

Norman, OK

MNTC hosts a spring blood drive, 2026 Donor Champion "More Than Ice in Our Veins". Schedule your appointment online for Wednesday, March 25 between 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. for the opportunity to help saves lives! Our goal is to fill every appointment spot.

Health program instructors and students are actively involved in preparing for the event as a way to give back to the community. Everyone is encouraged to donate, but anyone under the age of 18 must provide a completed permission form before donating. The forms can be picked up from the Physical Therapy Services classroom in the health building. Donors will receive an exclusive donor champions t-shirt while supplies last.

The blood drive will be located in the health building room H202 at the MNTC Franklin Road campus in Norman.

Blood donation helps people in our community. Donors, especially those who donate regularly, keep our nation's blood supply stable. Although many people donate blood after disasters, blood is needed every day of the year, every two seconds in the United States. Because of this need, Moore Norman Technology Center hosts a blood drive three times a year. According to Our Blood Institute, one donation can save up to three lives.

More reasons to donate:

  • Each donation can impact the lives of many loved ones and friends.
  • Another way to fulfill part of MNTC’s mission statement of changing lives and building better tomorrows.
  • Employees earn the Blood Donation Wellness Badge.
  • You get a t-shirt and a snack.
  • Giving back to the community.

Contact the Frank Romero, Physical Therapy Services instructor at 405-801-5402 for more information about scheduling your appointment, or go to the website: www.yourbloodinstitute.org
