Moore Norman Technology Center Practical Nursing Program Coordinator Earns Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator Credential

April 15, 2022  Washington, DC --- The Society for Simulation in Healthcare and Moore Norman Technology Center (MNTC) recognize that Practical Nursing Coordinator Jeffery Jordan, MS, RN, MBA has earned the international Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) credential. Jordan continues to develop his professional knowledge and achievements through advanced credentials.

Jeffery Jordan passed an exam that assesses the knowledge and understanding of the principles, processes, and fundamentals for developing and delivering high-quality healthcare simulation activities.  The comprehensive CHSE credential covers educational design and healthcare simulation principles, and the application of these to meet the needs of healthcare learners at all levels. 

Jeffery Jordan joins MNTC Skill/Simulation Instructor Veretta Parker in the ranks as one of the few select certified personnel working at a technology center who have achieved this distinction in Oklahoma. 

Dr. Wendy Perry, Director of Health Programs stated “One of the benefits of this accomplishment is the ability of our nursing students to earn 2 hours for every 1 hour of simulation of clinicals performed on campus. We are very fortunate to have dedicated professionals like Jeff and Veretta who provide to most advanced and effective training techniques.”
