MNTC hosts a spring blood drive, Get Your Sticks on Route 66 and Donate to benefit Our Blood Institute in Oklahoma this month. Schedule your appointment online and select a time for Tuesday, April 14 between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for the opportunity to help saves lives!

Our South Penn staff are actively involved in preparing for the event as a way to give back to the community. Everyone is encouraged to donate, but anyone under the age of 18 must provide a completed permission form before donating. The forms can be picked up from the front office at the South Penn Campus.

Look for the bloodmobile at the front entrance of the South Penn Campus, 13301 S. Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK. Donors will receive a Shark themed t-shirt, while supplies last.

Blood donation helps people in our community. Donors, especially those who donate regularly, keep our nation's blood supply stable. Although many people donate blood after disasters, blood is needed every day of the year, every two seconds in the United States. Because of this need, Moore Norman Technology Center hosts a blood drive several times a year. According to Our Blood Institute, one donation can save up to three lives.
