Students Earn National Standings at Business Professionals of America 2021 Leadership Conferences

Moore Norman Technology Center full-time students earned high rankings at the Business Professionals of America (BPA) national-level skills contests this spring. The National Leadership Conference for Business Professionals of America was held online, and awards were announced on May 8.

MNTC student organizations allow first through third place state contest winners to compete in national contests. MNTC students were awarded five of the 20 gold medals for Oklahoma. MNTC also earned BPA Chapter Excellence Award, with the application having been prepared by BPA Officer and Cyber Defense student Chase Smith.

This was the first time the conference was held as a completely virtual event. Students were asked to either upload pre-recorded videos of their work or they performed live over a webcam.
