Norman, OK

Moore Norman Technology Center students return from Oklahoma SkillsUSA Regional Leadership Conference with a total of 67 medals. The journey to SkillsUSA Championships begins at the local level, then regionals, and now our qualifiers attempt to win at the SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference in April. Students are working hard to learn their skilled trade for the opportunity to show off their talents and test their skills in Tulsa.

We had 113 competitors represent MNTC SkillsUSA . Members showed up with confidence, bringing home a total of 67 awards. There were 34 first place winners, 20 second place winners, and 13 third place winners.

Traci Hopper, CTSO Student Organization Coordinator at Moore Norman Technology Center, stated "I am blown away by the amount of students we had medal on stage this year.  This is a direct reflection on our amazing instructors for all they did to prepare students." Twelve different instructors had students qualify for SkillsUSA NLC. Read the list of all MNTC students placing in the top three for their competitive category.
