MNTC Announces April Student of the Month, Adult

The Moore Norman Technology Center Foundation is proud to announce the April MNTC Student of the Month (Adult) Bennett Betz.

Bennett Betz, an adult student in MNTC’s Automotive Collision Repair and Refinishing program, has earned high praise for his dedication, leadership, and work ethic. Known for his eagerness to learn and strong sense of accountability, Bennett shows up to class every day on time and ready to work. He goes above and beyond by helping classmates after completing his own assignments and consistently seeks new challenges. Currently preparing for the State Skills Contest, he exemplifies the values that make him a role model in class and on the job.

Outside the classroom, Bennett is employed at S&S Paint and Body through the school’s OJT program, where he receives top marks from his supervisor and performs tasks without the need for supervision. Despite a demanding schedule he maintains a positive attitude and remains highly motivated. His instructor describes him as one of the best students in the past two years and a model employee with a bright future in the auto collision industry.

“[Bennett] never misses school and always shows up on time,” said his teacher Joey Skinner. “He is a model employee setting the example for others wanting to enter into the Auto Collision industry. I have no doubt he will continue to be successful in our industry and life.”

Representatives from the MNTC Foundation, Tinker Federal Credit Union, and district administrators surprised Bennett with the announcement in his classroom.
