MNTC Announces December 2025 Student of the Month, High School

Aylin Duque-Ramirez has been named the Moore Norman Technology Center Foundation High School Student of the Month for exemplifying character, leadership, and dedication to excellence. Nominated by her MNTC Physical Therapy Services (PTS) instructor Frank Romero, Aylin is known for her professionalism, integrity, and commitment to serving others.

Aylin is recognized for celebrating the success of her peers and demonstrating exceptional maturity. Her compassion shines in everyday interactions but it was especially evident during a recent live work opportunity. Mr. Romero explained, “When a student from another program faced a language barrier, Aylin stepped in, and used her bilingual skills to teach exercises and stretches in Spanish. Her initiative ensured the student felt included and supported.”

As part of the Career Tech Student Organization (CTSO) school officer morning team, Aylin leads by example, consistently submitting high-quality work, staying prepared, and contributing to a positive classroom environment.

Currently a junior at Norman High School, Aylin plans to work in a physical therapy clinic during her senior year of high school to gain experience and save for college. After graduation, Aylin hopes to attend the University of Oklahoma and pursue a career as an occupational therapist.

Aylin’s dedication, leadership, and heart for service make her a standout representative of MNTC and a natural choice for Student of the Month.

In addition to physical therapy services, Aylin also participates in a leadership position with MNTC HOSA. HOSA is a student organization for those pursuing an education, and eventually a career, in healthcare.

Representatives from the MNTC Foundation, Tinker Federal Credit Union, and district administrators surprised Aylin with the announcement in her classroom.
