MNTC Announces October 2026 Student of the Month, High School

Congratulations to MNTC Health Careers Certifications student Jacoby Jarvis named the Moore Norman Technology Center Foundation High School Student of the Month for October! Although the school year has only recently begun, Jacoby has already made a meaningful impact on the MNTC community. His kindness, initiative, and commitment to helping others exemplify the MNTC core value of valuing people.

“In the short time I have known Jacoby, it is clear that relationships and serving others are important to him. Jacoby seems to genuinely value the people around him,” noted HCC Instructor Julie Billington. “I believe his positive attitude, strong character, and desire to serve others make him very deserving of recognition as Student of the Month.”

From his first day of class, Jacoby made an intentional effort to connect with classmates and staff. Whether learning classmates’ names, including others in conversations, offering encouragement, or simply greeting people with a smile and a fist bump, he is recognized for his natural ability to make those around him feel noticed and welcome. He also regularly looks for ways to help and contribute without being asked.

Jacoby, a senior at Moore High School, balances school with his job at Chick-fil-A and is active in FCA, his church, and his family. After graduation, he plans to join the military and pursue a career in nursing. He also hopes to one day work with missionaries, combining his interest in healthcare with his desire to serve others.

Representatives from the MNTC Foundation, Tinker Federal Credit Union, and district administrators surprised Jacoby with the announcement in his classroom.
