Gary Shelton receives VINE award

Gary Shelton, Basic Peace Officer coordinator/instructor at Moore Norman Technology Center was recently awarded the Oklahoma VINE Award. He was recognized by the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office (OAG) for his dedication and compassion in promoting a victim-centered approach in law enforcement training. His efforts equipped law enforcement trainees with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively respond to domestic violence and support survivors. These critical resources and services are provided by the OAG, specifically through the Victim Services and Advocacy Unit.

Chamber Leadership Programs
Moore Norman Technology Center is committed to the professional development of our staff and engagement in our community. Each year employees are encouraged to apply for the leadership programs offered through the Moore, Norman, and south Oklahoma City Chambers of Commerce.
 
All three chambers have sessions dedicated to education, public safety, and community service, in addition to topics specific to their communities. Congratulations to MNTC employees selected to participate this year!
