The student must take care of any financial obligations related to tuition, fees, and/or materials prior to the first day of class. The student may pay his/her balance online through the MNTC Student Portal or by contacting the Bursar Office. Cash, credit/debit cards, checks, and money orders are accepted. Payment plans are available.

An Account Status is mailed to the address listed on his/her Student Account. It is the student’s responsibility to keep the contact information in the Student Account up to date.

Please note the school’s process is to refer all unpaid accounts to a collection agency. The student will be responsible for any collections/court fees if the account is turned to a collection agency. Under these circumstances, the student explicitly authorizes MNTC to release personal and financial records to the collection agency.

It is beneficial for all adult students to apply for financial aid. Complete the FAFSA application to see if you are eligible for federal and state financial assistance.

The MNTC Tuition Assistance program offers up to $4,000 for full-time programs or eligible short-term courses. Eligible students must meet specific criteria, such as being 21 or younger, living in the MNTC school district, and having a high school diploma or equivalent, or being a high school student in good standing. To maintain assistance, students must make satisfactory progress, uphold a B average, adhere to attendance policies, and avoid disciplinary issues; violations may result in probation or loss of benefits. Complete the MNTC Tuition Assistance application and submit a high school transcript or diploma to apply.
