Graduation Ceremony Details
Due to the overwhelming support from the family and friends of our graduates, we will continue to hold our 2026 Graduation Ceremony at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman. The venue will accommodate a larger audience. We hope to have many family and friends join us as we celebrate the successful completion of training students to enter the next phase of their career.
What: 2026 MNTC Graduation Ceremony
When: Wednesday, May 6, 2026
Time: Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Graduates arrive no later than 5:45 p.m. Ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m.

For a list of items permitted and prohibited in the OU/Lloyd Noble Center, review the OU Clear Bag Policy. Please read the details in advance to make your arrival and entrance run smoothly. Detailed ADA/Accessibility information will be provided closer to graduation. OU Athletics, who oversee the Lloyd Noble Center, will be solely responsible for weather and emergency protocols. MNTC will work closely with OU Athletics about any changes the day of graduation due to weather.

Important graduation details:
GOWNS -All graduates will be required to wear a graduation gown (no cap). If you are a high school student, please wear your high school graduation gown. All other students click here to purchase your ROYAL (blue) graduation gown only. The gowns can be purchased on Amazon. Allow plenty of time when ordering so your gown arrives in time for graduation. The outfit underneath your gown should be professional, including shoes that allow for safely walking up and down stairs.

CORDS/STOLES - Superintendent's Award nominees will receive gold cords and will wear them at graduation. NTHS members will receive information about their cords/stoles before graduation. NTHS stoles will not be available at the ceremony. NTHS members must pick up your cords from your building Admin Assistant prior to the graduation ceremony. PHOTOGRAPHY - Candid Color will be at graduation to take photos of each student as they receive their diploma and after they cross the stage. A link to the Candid Color website will be provided closer to graduation. We encourage students to register on the Candid Color website prior to graduation date to purchase graduation pictures. The photos will be available on the Candid Color website a few weeks after the ceremony.

LIVESTREAM - A livestream of the ceremony will be available the day of the graduation ceremony. Sign up on our Youtube Channel for easy access to the link.
DIPLOMAS -Students can pick up their diploma from their instructor on the last day of school. After June 1, students will need to pick up their diploma from Student Services. Student Services hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you have a hold on your account, please call (405) 801-5000 to take care of it as soon as possible to receive your diploma. *Forms of valid photo ID include: current driver’s license, 2025-2026 school ID (MNTC, high school, or college/university), other state-issued photo ID.
National Anthem Audition
MNTC is inviting students to audition to perform the National Anthem at this year's graduation ceremony. To be considered you must complete and submit audition form, including a link to your audition video, by April 22, 2026. Access the form by scanning the QR code in the image or scroll to the section "How to submit your audition" to complete the online form.
