Who is eligible for Moore Norman Technology Center Discounts?

Moore Norman Technology Center provides course tuition benefits to current and retired employees and board members. Additional discounts offered include the Lifelong Learner discount, MPS/NPS employee discount, and Military discount.  Review board polices for more details. Information submitted in the form below will be verified to determine qualification to receive benefit or discounts.

In order to be eligible for the military discount, an individual must currently be a member of the armed forces or have received a discharge from the armed forces other than a dishonorable discharge. Current spouses of such individuals may be eligible to participate in the program.

Military Spouse
  • Military identification card indicating relationship between student and military member.

Educator Discount

MNTC promotes continued educational opportunities to employees of Moore Public School District and Norman Public School District.

Student Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the discount, an individual must be a full time employee of Moore or Norman Public Schools at the time of enrollment.  

Program Benefits

Eligible students may receive a reduction of fifty percent (50%) on the cost of tuition short term (BIS) courses. This discount does not apply to books, materials, supplies, etc. Some courses, such as online classes, may not be eligible for this discount.

Other Conditions

  • Discount must be requested at time of enrollment. Please provide proof of eligibility at time of enrollment.
  • The student must purchase books, study materials, and supplies required for the class, workshop, or seminar
  • MNTC may discontinue offering this benefit at any time in the discretion of the board; however, such discontinuation will not affect individuals who are enrolled in the program at the time the decision to discontinue the program is made. Individuals who fraudulently obtain a tuition discount under this program will be required to repay the tuition discounted, will be removed from enrollment at MNTC and will be ineligible for future enrollment at MNTC.

Lifelong Learner Discount

MNTC  promotes lifelong learning by providing certain benefits to individuals who have attained the age of 60 years. 

Student Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the discount, an individual must be 60 years of age or older.
