When is the first day of school at MNTC?
Tuesday, August 12
Students whose high school starts after August 12 should still report to MNTC beginning on our first day of class. Busses will be available at your high school. Below are updates to student information and communications. High School students: Please read with your parent or guardian.
*Basic Peace Officer Certification will start on August 4.
*Adult Aviation Maintenance Technology will start on August 7.
*Practical Nursing will start on August 7.
Transportation
- Students driving to campus will receive their parking tag on the first day of class if they have registered their car in Student Services.
- A Moore Norman Technology Center bus will be at each high school on the first day of class, August 12. Click on the link to view class times and bus schedules. - Class Times & Bus Schedule
School ID badges
Students will receive their printed student ID badges from their instructor after the first week of classes if they have already taken their photo. The last scheduled time to get your student photo taken is Friday, August 8 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The photos are only taken in Student Services at the Franklin Road Campus.
Dining
The MNTC café, Bistro 72, will be open for breakfast and lunch from 7:45 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Seating will be available in the north dining area.

A.M. Hours: 9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
NPS 9:15 - 12:05
MPS 9:25 - 12:15
P.M. Hours: 1:15 p.m. - 4:10 p.m.

MPS: 1:15 - 4:10
* Aviation Maintenance Technology(Adult), Surgical Technology, and Practical Nursing have a different schedule. Students should refer to their booklet for hours or view the booklet on the program webpage.
