With the growth of the film industry in Oklahoma, more opportunities will become available for a new wave of crew members to join the camera department. This class will educate you about pathways into the camera department, the roles of the camera crew, skills you can practice and how to get started in this growing industry. No experience necessary, but camera /video experience is a plus.

Learn where you should be listed and why, discover tips for optimizing your profile for maximum impact, and identify pitfalls to avoid. Connect with local industry-specific groups, use tips for building your personal brand, identify social media to promote your film projects, and strategies for keeping your profiles current.

Elevate your skills in the realm of production sound for television and film. Our intensive 12-hour program is designed to equip you with the expertise needed to excel in capturing top-tier audio for the screen. Gain a working knowledge of a production sound department for TV/Film, experience with sound equipment and production techniques. Teaching methods include detailed lecture, hands on labs with boom and wireless systems, and an introductory experience in a narrative setting.
