Personal Enrichment classes are held at our South Penn Campus! We’re expanding our offerings and welcoming talented new adjunct instructors who bring fresh, creative energy to our programs. Look forward to new classes in upcycled art, painting, sketching, photography, cookie decorating, and more.

Acrylic Adventures at South Penn Campus

Ready to dive into the exciting world of acrylics? Try our next 6-hour journey designed to unlock your creative potential. This class treats paint as a vibrant language, starting with the "vocabulary" (techniques) of acrylic techniques and textures.

Art of Drawing

Drawing Made Simple, Fun, and Seriously Addictive! Whether you’re a beginner who’s never picked up a pencil or someone who already loves sketching, you’ll find yourself amazed at how quickly your skills grow. 

Baking class for French Macarons
In this session you will learn about French Macarons - A delicate sandwich cookie made from almond flour, egg whites, and sugar. They are crisp on the outside with a cream filling that you can adjust to fit your craving.
Basic American Sign Language
This course introduces the basics of American Sign Language (ASL) and is designed for students who have little or no previous knowledge of ASL. Readiness for learning ASL will be approached via visual-gestural communication techniques, visual discrimination, and visual memory exercises. 
 
Basic Guitar 1
Even if you have never touched a guitar before, you can learn to play the basics after only eight weeks in this fun, hands-on class. Students with no previous musical experience will gain confidence in this group environment. This class fills up fast, enroll today!
Beginning Crochet Level 2

Crochet is a fiber arts skill that creates fabric when a series of loops are created using a hook and yarn. This class is designed to help someone wanting to learn the art of crochet with little to no experience. Participants will learn how to crochet in rows as they complete a seasonal wreath pattern, and will also learn to crochet in the round as they complete a basic hat pattern.

Beginning Crochet Level 2

Crochet is a fiber arts skill that creates fabric when a series of loops are created using a hook and yarn. This class is designed as a continuation of the Beginner Level One Crochet Class. Learn new skills and apply skills previously learned to new stitches. Projects include creating an eyeglass case, a clutch purse, table runner, tote bag, and a cowl.

 

Beginning Sewing I

But what if I don't know ANYTHING about sewing?! Then this class is for you! This class will lead you through the basics of sewing. Participants will learn about sewing terms, sewing machine features, and tips for selecting a fabric.

Cooking Class Brazilian Cheese Bread
Looking to spice up your culinary skills? Join our dynamic instructors for an interactive cooking experience where you'll transform fresh ingredients into mouthwatering creations! 
Cooking Class Sushi Basics
Are you interested in improving your cooking skills? Join our instructors as they walk you through step-by-step instructions to prepare sushi. This class is all hands on deck! At the end of the class, you will have the opportunity to sample the food you helped prepare.
Discover Macrame

Unwind and get creative in this beginner-friendly, project-based macramé class. Over four weeks, students will explore the art of knotting to create a variety of decorative and functional pieces. Each session introduces a new project, allowing you to build skills while crafting beautiful macramé designs.

Sew it Yourself, sewing project class

This hands-on course introduces foundational sewing skills in project-based lessons. These skills will include machine operation, pattern reading and project construction. Students will build confidence through a series of beginner projects and leave with finished pieces and essential sewing techniques.
