What’s New This Fall
Starting August 2025, all Personal Enrichment classes will be held at our South Penn Campus! We’re expanding our offerings and welcoming talented new adjunct instructors who bring fresh, creative energy to our programs. Look forward to new classes in upcycled art, painting, sketching, photography, cookie decorating, and more.

Basic American Sign Language

This course introduces the basics of American Sign Language (ASL) and is designed for students who have little or no previous knowledge of ASL. Readiness for learning ASL will be approached via visual-gestural communication techniques, visual discrimination, and visual memory exercises. ASL questions, commands, and other simple sentence structures are introduced to develop beginning conversational skills in ASL. Information about the Deaf Community and Deaf Culture will be introduced.

Basic American Sign Language Level 2

This course is a continuation of Basic American Sign Language, designed for students who want to expand their knowledge and conversational skills in ASL. Participants will learn to communicate locations, directions, monetary amounts, time measurements and much more in this eight-week course.

Basic American Sign Language Level 3

This course is a continuation of Basic American Sign Language I & II, designed for students who want to expand their knowledge and conversational skills in ASL. Participants will learn to communicate time measurements, classifiers, storytelling and much more.

Basic Guitar I

Even if you have never touched a guitar before, you can learn to play the basics after only eight weeks in this fun, hands-on class. Students with no previous musical experience will gain confidence in this group environment. This class fills up fast, enroll today!

Cooking Class-Asian Stir Fried Chicken in a Wok
