CompTIA A+ is a certification preparation class designed for individuals seeking entry-level positions in information technology (IT). This course builds on your existing user-level knowledge of PC software and hardware to develop the fundamental skills and concepts required for success in today’s IT environments.
The class uses CompTIA’s online platform, CertMaster Learn and Labs, which combines instructional lessons, videos, practice questions, performance-based questions, and virtual labs to provide hours of engaging content aligned with CompTIA A+ exam objectives.
Essential hands-on skills are developed through instructor-led discussions, demonstrations, and lab activities focused on installing, configuring, optimizing, troubleshooting, repairing, upgrading, and performing preventive maintenance on PCs, digital devices, and operating systems.
A personalized Learning Plan helps learners stay on track with their studies, while robust analytics highlight areas of strength and opportunities for improvement. Tuition includes books and access to quizzes, practice tests, and other certification preparation resources—everything you need to approach the exam with confidence.
While Moore Norman Technology Center provides all necessary learning resources for a successful exam experience, certification exams must be scheduled separately through Pearson VUE. Exams may be taken at our Assessment Center or online from home.
