This 6-hour continuing education class provides electricians with an in-depth review of grounding and bonding principles as outlined in the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Key topics include the purpose and function of grounding, methods of bonding to ensure electrical continuity, overcurrent protection, and safety practices that reduce the risk of shock and fire hazards.
This class has been approved by the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board (CIB) and meets the 6-hour continuing education requirement for Electrical Journeyman and Contractors.

This class meets the new electrical requirements, is approved by the Construction Industries Board (CIB), and fulfills the six hours of “Other” training required for license renewal.
Under the new CIB regulations, journeymen and electrical contractors must complete 12 hours of continuing education every three years (36 months), including six hours on code updates and six hours of other approved topics.
*Students must be 16 years of age or older to enroll in short term classes.
