Home inspection offers a flexible and in-demand career path that can lead to a full-time business, part-time income, or an opportunity to add a valuable professional skill.
This comprehensive 90-hour course is designed to help students meet Oklahoma licensing requirements while developing the knowledge and practical skills needed to conduct professional home inspections. Students will learn to evaluate major home systems, including structural components, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, ventilation, interiors, exteriors, insulation, and built-in appliances.
The course also covers inspection reporting, licensing requirements, business considerations, and professional inspection practices. Hands-on experience during a residential inspection provides students with the opportunity to apply what they learn in a real-world setting.
Upon completion, students will have a solid foundation for pursuing home inspection as a new career, side business, or additional service within the housing industry.
