Master the essentials of refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating systems in our comprehensive blended program. Gain hands-on expertise in installation, diagnostics, and servicing procedures. Earn OSHA and EPA certifications, enhancing your professional credentials. Completing HVAC/R I and II shortens your apprenticeship for a Journeyman's License in Oklahoma from three years to two.
HVAC/R I provides a strong foundation in electrical principles essential for the industry. Students will explore transformers, electric motors, gas and electric heating, and how to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams. Hands-on training will focus on troubleshooting and servicing motors, compressors, and controls, preparing students to work with real-world HVAC equipment.

This course requires students to have access to a computer for completing homework assignments. In addition, students are expected to attend the Essential Skills class on the third Thursday of each month.
