The BLS Renewal Class is an option for BLS Providers who currently have an active BLS Provider card. The renewal course is a video based, instructor led course that features accelerated content. It allows for time efficiency while teaching both single-rescuer and team basic life support in both in facility and prehospital settings.
The primary objective is to teach participants the psychomotor (performance) skills of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children, and infants and to provide information about Emergency Medical Services (EMS) activation, risk factors, and signals and actions for survival.
The new 2020 AHA guidelines provide the foundation for saving lives from cardiac arrest.
MNTC is an official American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center. After successful completion of the CPR class, the student will receive an AHA BLS Provider ecard.
