This Online class is designed to offer the student knowledge and a practical skill set in the medical and billing area covering the process from billing health claim submissions to collection including troubleshooting a denial claim.
It will explore the different types of insurance, commercial and Medicare. Specific insurance terminology is covered in detail in order to prepare the student to be knowledgeable in educating the patient with regards to the processes and communicating with the payers.
Online ebooks will be emailed to students the week the class begins. Students must be able to use Skype or Facetime.
