This Online class presents a study of basic medical terminology, Prefixes, suffixes, word roots, combining forms, special endings, plural forms, abbreviations, and symbols are included in the content.
A word-building system will be used to learn many new terms. Emphasis is placed on spelling, definition, usage and pronunciation.
Pronunciation is done via skype or face-time. Instructor will inform students which days of the week they will do their pronunciation.

This is an structured online lockstep course.
Students must pick up their books from the South Penn Campus.
Students must have basic computer skills including using email & web browsers, opening and saving files, and connecting to Skype, Zoom or Facetime.
