Beginning Sewing I
Participants will learn about sewing terms, sewing machine features, and tips for selecting a fabric. Once the basics are covered, participants will learn how to read a pattern envelope, interpret pattern directions and assembly, and the best way to mark and cut fabric.
Sewing machines are available, but students may bring their sewing machines. Students are responsible for purchasing their fabric and sewing supplies. The cost of materials and supplies will vary depending on student selections.
