The Basic Rider Course is a complete entry-level, learn-to-ride class that consists of formal classroom activities and on-cycle riding exercises conducted over two days.
A week before your class begins you will be sent an email to complete the online eCourse. This eCourse is estimated to take five (5) hours to complete. This must be completed before the first day of class.
This class is not a guarantee that you will receive your motorcycle endorsement. You must pass both the riding assessment and the written exam. Moore Norman Technology Center does not offer a retest. If you are unsuccessful in the written or riding assessment, you will need to re-enroll and successfully complete another class.

Class will meet at the Moore Norman Warehouse located at 600 Research Blvd, Norman, OK 73069. Training motorcycles will be provided.
Required Items to bring to class:
- DOT or Snell certified helmet
- Eye protection
- Full-finger gloves
- Long-sleeve shirt or jacket
- Jeans or pants (no holes or thin spots; no leggings/yoga pants)
- Sturdy shoes that cover the ankles (boots preferred)
*Students must be 16 years of age or older to enroll in short term classes.
