Linda Little Receives 2026 OkACTE Administrator of the Year Award, Counseling and Career Development Division

Recently retired Assessment Center Manager Linda Little earned recognition as the 2026 OkACTE Administrator of the Year for the Counseling and Career Development division by building one of Oklahoma's premier assessment programs and setting the standard other centers follow. Overseeing two comprehensive assessment sites before her retirement on July 3, she led the administration of approximately 8,000 examinations annually, supporting certifications and licensures for more than 20 national and regional professional organizations.

Under Linda’s direction, MNTC became the first ODCTE Assessment Center certified by the National College Testing Association and the first to implement online scheduling through RegisterBlast. In 2018, she led the successful development of a new Assessment Center, expanding access and services. Other ODCTE assessment programs regularly visit the center to study its best practices, and external testers consistently cite MNTC as the best and often the only testing location they choose to use.

This influence is grounded in more than 30 years of assessment expertise. Linda is certified as an Administrator and Proctor for numerous professional testing vendors representing thousands of exams, and earlier in her career served on a Comprehensive Assessment Committee supporting institution-wide initiatives. She served as President of the Oklahoma Association of Testing Personnel (2017–2018) and has mentored assessment personnel across the state.

Linda was recognized at the Monday General Session of the 59th Annual Oklahoma Summit! The annual conference is hosted by Oklahoma CareerTech and OkACTE and brings together over 4,000 educators, administrators, industry partners, and technology center leaders from across the state for two days of collaboration, learning, and leadership development.
