Malinda Williams, HR/Wellness coordinator at Moore Norman Technology Center, has been announced as one of the six recipients of the OkACTE Outstanding New Professional of the Year. This award recognizes Malinda’s outstanding contributions to employee health and wellness.

 

Since joining MNTC in 2023, Malinda has transformed our approach to well-being—launching a vibrant Wellness Center and Employee Wellness Program that saw over 60% participation in its second year. From developing injury prevention initiatives to co-leading mental health support programs, Malinda’s innovation, dedication, and passion have elevated the health of our workplace and beyond.

 

Malinda was recognized at the Sunday evening awards banquet that kicked off the 58th Annual Oklahoma Summit! The annual conference is hosted by Oklahoma CareerTech and OkACTE and brings together over 4,000 educators, administrators, industry partners, and technology center leaders from across the state for two days of collaboration, learning, and leadership development.
