High School Juniors and Seniors Only
Start your health and medical or nursing career by preparing for two state certifications: Long-Term Care Nurse Assistant and Home Health Care Nurse Assistant. This class provides core knowledge based on the Oklahoma State Department of Health Guidelines. Upon certification, you can begin your career as a Long Term and Home Health Care Nurse Assistant, and additionally you are prepared to continue your education in the health care industry. Nursing Assistants perform delegated tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Nurse Assistants focus on the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of the resident and their family.
