MNTC Announces March Student of the Month, Adult
The Moore Norman Technology Center Foundation is proud to announce the March Moore Norman Technology Center Student of the Month (Adult) Charitie Franklin for her academic achievements, leadership, and attitude.
Charity started her MNTC education in the Veterinary Assisting program, but moved to Automotive Service Technology program which she has decided is the place for her. In the classroom, Charitie demonstrates a strong commitment to accuracy by relying on diagnostic data and evidence when making decisions in the shop, ensuring her work is both precise and effective. She treats everyone in the classroom with respect, actively listening to others’ opinions and valuing their contributions.
Recently, Charitie volunteered to be a part of the Superintendent's Student Council team, showing her commitment to making a positive impact beyond the classroom.
As a female student in a traditionally male career program, Charitie is undaunted in Automotive Service Technology bringing a positive, can-do attitude every day. “She’s enthusiastic, determined, and always ready to jump in and help her classmates,” says AST instructor Albert Zoll. “Charitie consistently takes responsibility for her work, striving to meet deadlines and complete tasks accurately. She holds herself to high standards and encourages her classmates to do the same.
Representatives from the MNTC Foundation, Tinker Federal Credit Union, and district administrators surprised Charitie with the announcement in her classroom.
