Nondiscrimination (Continuing Notice)
There will be no discrimination in the technology center because of race, color, sex, pregnancy, gender, gender expression or identity, national origin, religion, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, age, or genetic information in its programs, services, activities, and employment. The district also provides equal access to the Boy Scouts of America and other designated youth groups. The following people have been designated to handle inquiries regarding the technology center’s nondiscrimination policy (including 504, ADA, Title IX): Associate Superintendent, Instruction and the Executive Director, Human Resources. What Is Title IX?
Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972: No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.

Section 504 Accommodations
Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504) provides rights to accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities of all ages within the educational environment. In order to receive these accommodations, qualifying conditions must be met and an official 504 Plan must be agreed upon between the individual and the district.
