Discover the world of graphic arts and packaging design! In this hands-on class, middle school students will explore color, typography, and branding while creating eye-catching designs for products. Learn to think creatively, develop digital and hand-drawn designs, and bring packaging ideas to life in fun, interactive projects!
Summer Youth Academy is open to students entering sixth, seventh, or eighth grade. Classes are scheduled to run during four different weeks in June from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and fill up quickly. Each week has different class options. MNTC Summer Youth Academy is career-focused to engage students and connect with a future career. Students may only enroll in one class per week. Enrollment is limited to 10-15 students depending on the class. Classes are taught by current MNTC instructors and include hands-on activities.
