MNTC’s Franklin Road Campus is located at the corner of 12th Avenue NW and Franklin Road, between the communities of Moore and Norman. The campus offers six buildings totaling 323,500 square feet that feature classrooms, labs, industry-standard equipment, and meeting and conference rooms.
In addition to the main building, MNTC’s campus includes a health education center, an industry training center, carpentry/woodworking building, and IT building. The campus features include a scenic pond used for water retention, and as a resource for grounds upkeep.
MNTC employs 230 full-time staff, including 19 part-time positions, certified teachers, instructors, support personnel, and administrators. Employees have an average tenure of 12 years. Oklahoma’s network of technology centers offers an option for career and technical education that is community-focused. It is the responsibility of technology centers to use taxpayer funds to educate, train, and develop a strong workforce that will enhance economic development for our state, and improve the quality of life for all Oklahomans.
In addition to providing technical training to high school students and adults, MNTC’s customer base has evolved since the doors opened in 1976. MNTC has programs and services that support growth of community businesses. Local businesses and companies considering relocating to Moore, Norman or south Oklahoma City turn to MNTC for training and consulting in areas such as employee development, safety, and international quality standards.
