Adults & High School Seniors

Medical Assisting provides students with hands-on experience in administrative and clinical skills in a health care setting. Take medical histories, perform vital signs, and assist the physician during examinations and minor office surgeries. Students learn to draw blood, prepare patients for X-rays, take electrocardiograms, remove sutures, change dressings, and sterilize medical instruments. Students gain hands-on experience by conducting clinical observations, and working with patients.
