Adults & High School Juniors and Seniors
Skilled carpenters are needed to meet the ongoing demand for new housing, office, and retail space. You’ll estimate and order building materials, prepare, assemble, and install materials using hand and power tools, and construct a custom-project home. Train as a cabinetmaker or residential carpenter, and earn an OSHA 10 Card and a General Induction Card for on-site work. Work as a cabinetmaker, frame carpenter, or residential carpenter.

Heat and air technicians who have training from an accredited technical school have excellent job prospects. Learn residential and light-commercial systems, installations, maintenance, and repair. Train to become an HVAC/R Technician, obtain EPA 608 certification, I.C.E. certification, an Oklahoma State Apprentice license, and OSHA 10 General Safety certification, and work anywhere in the United States.

Prepare to work as a drafting technician, engineer, architectural technician, or designer. Work toward an AutoDesk Associate certification, and earn professional certifications in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit.

Adult and High School Students
Automotive collision technicians are trained in automotive body repair and refinishing. Students in this program learn how to repair damaged bodies and parts of vehicles by straightening, removing dents and replacing damaged auto body parts. Develop skills to become a Collision Non-structural Repair & Refinishing Technician, and prepare to take the I-CAR Certification. Train in a modern, updated facility with industry-standard tools and equipment. The industry standard curriculum and experiences help prepare students to complete the program with student ASE certifications.

High School Juniors Only
Inspect and perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, and alteration of aircraft and aircraft systems. Students graduate with the skills and experience required to pass the General written exam administered by the FAA. To complete the entire A&P program with certification, high school graduates will need to enroll as an adult full-time for 13 months to complete the Airframe and Powerplant sections and will gain the skills and experience required to pass the Airframe Mechanic and the Powerplant Mechanic exams administered by the FAA. MNTC's Aviation Maintenance Technology program is certified under Part 147 of the Federal Aviation Regulations and offers FAA-approved and supervised curriculum.

Students apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems. Engineers design products, machinery, factories, systems, efficiency, and manufacturing processes that ensure the quality of the products they help design. This knowledge is used to design, plan, and supervise the construction of buildings, highways, and transit systems. Students can complete five engineering courses in the two year program, and possibly up to seven in the four-year, freshman entry program available at Norman, Norman North, Moore, Westmoore, and Southmoore High Schools.

PLTW Biomedical students are taking on real-world challenges, and they’re doing it before graduating from high school. Working with the same tools used by professionals in labs and hospitals, as a laboratories student, you will engage in compelling, hands-on activities and collaborate on teams to find solutions to problems. PLTW Biomedical empowers you to build knowledge and skills in biomedical studies, make presentations, and develop transportable skills like problem-solving, critical and creative thinking, communication, and collaboration.
Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is the curriculum used to teach this program.

Students learn to build the future with code, creativity, and curiosity through this hands-on Python and Artificial Intelligence (AI) program. Beginning with a strong foundation in Python programming, students explore machine learning, neural networks, large language models, data science, and AI engineering through real-world applications and industry-style projects.
Using tools such as Google Colab and Hugging Face Transformers, students develop intelligent systems while exploring concepts like sentiment analysis, image classification, text generation, and data analysis.
Through creative problem-solving and collaborative challenges, students gain technical skills, confidence, leadership abilities, and ethical awareness necessary to succeed in an AI-driven world.

Carpentry

Skilled carpenters are needed to meet the ongoing demand for new housing, office, and retail space. You’ll estimate and order building materials, prepare, assemble, and install materials using hand and power tools, and construct a custom-project home. Train as a cabinetmaker or residential carpenter, and earn an OSHA 10 Card and a General Induction Card for on-site work. Work as a cabinetmaker, frame carpenter, or residential carpenter.

MNTC Engineering is a college preparatory program for those interested in an engineering career. Students apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems. Engineers design products, machinery, factories, systems, efficiency, and manufacturing processes that ensure the quality of the products they help design. This knowledge is used to design, plan, and supervise the construction of buildings, highways, and transit systems. Students can complete five engineering courses in the two year program, and possibly up to seven in the four-year, freshman entry program available at Norman, Norman North, Moore, Westmoore, and Southmoore High Schools.
