High School Juniors and Seniors
MNTC Engineering is a college preparatory program for those interested in an engineering career. Students apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems. Engineers design products, machinery, factories, systems, efficiency, and manufacturing processes that ensure the quality of the products they help design. This knowledge is used to design, plan, and supervise the construction of buildings, highways, and transit systems. Students can complete five engineering courses in the two year program, and possibly up to seven in the four-year, freshman entry program available at Norman, Norman North, Moore, Westmoore, and Southmoore High Schools.

Program Highlights
  • Explore, experience, and create innovative projects in the diverse fields of engineering
  • Design and build rockets, robots, planes, and architectural models
  • Work individually and in teams to solve unique engineering challenges using advanced math and science
