Cosmetologists offer services such as shampooing, cutting, coloring and styling hair. You’ll work on clients in MNTC’s full-service salon and prepare to take the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology exam to work as a cosmetologist.
The daytime program is open to high school applicants only. The evening program is open to adults only.

High School Juniors
Cosmetologists offer services such as shampooing, cutting, coloring and styling hair. You will work on clients in MNTC’s full-service salon and prepare to take the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology exam to work as a cosmetologist. The daytime program is only available to junior high school students as a two year program. High school seniors can not apply.

Adult Students Only
Cosmetologists offer services such as shampooing, cutting, coloring and styling hair. You’ll work on clients in MNTC’s full-service salon and prepare to take the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology exam to work as a cosmetologist. The evening program is only available to adult students.
Adult Students Only
Students will prepare to become an instructor of cosmetology in accordance with Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology mandates and be eligible to sit for the Master Instructor Exam. The Master Cosmetologist Student will work with the MNTC instructor(s) and be guided to teach cosmetology courses to future students. This may include but is not limited to, assisting in delivering course content in the areas of skin, hair, and nails in addition to grading students’ work, exams, and supervising student’s time with clients in the salon on campus.

High School Juniors and Seniors
Esthetics offer services such as provide skincare treatments to face and body to enhance an individual's appearance. Includes electrologists and laser hair removal specialists. You will work on clients in MNTC’s full-service salon and prepare to take the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology exam to work as an esthetician. The daytime program is only available to junior and senior high school students as a one year program.

You will work on clients in MNTC’s full-service salon and prepare to take the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology exam to work as a manicurist. The daytime program is only available to junior and senior high school students as a one year program. High school seniors can not apply.
