MNTC's Esthetician Program prepares students to become professional skin care consultants as mandated by the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology.

Students learn techniques proven to provide skin and beauty care for clients, thereby, improving their appearance. Students also learn to cleanse and beautify skin with facials as well as hair wax removal.

Q: Are there prerequisites for this program?

Q: Does MNTC require student ID badges?

A: Yes. All students and staff must wear an MNTC badge while on campus. Pictures for badges are taken during the registration process.

Q: How long will it take to complete the program?

A: High school students need 1,000 hours to complete and can only attend part time. Part-time high school students need approximately two years (four semesters) to complete. Adult students need 1,500 hours to complete. Adults may choose to attend part time, which takes approximately three years (six semesters) to complete, or full time, which takes approximately 1-1/2 years (three semesters) to complete.

Q: How many hours are required to complete the program?

A: 1500 hours for adults and 1000 hours for high school students are to be completed in order to sit for the  Licensed Cosmetologist Exam (OK State Board of Cosmetology)
