Making It Work Day Award Recipients for MNTC.

The Oklahoma Career and Technical Education Equity Council honored 15 Oklahomans and three businesses and organizations at the 30th annual Making It Work Day at the Capitol on March 6.

Outstanding Graduate (CareerTech) Southeast recipient Alisa West, a graduate from Moore Norman Technology Center's Cloud and Virtual Network Administration program. 

Outstanding Instructor (CareerTech) Southeast recipient Todd Hendrickson, Cloud and Virtual Network Administration instructor at Moore Norman Technology Center.

Both were honored at the ceremony and received a signed citation from Senator Rob Standridge and Representative Jacob Rosecrants.

Joe Austin with Regional Food Bank-Moore received the Outstanding Business & Industry Partner Award. He was recognized for his partnership with the MNTC H.I.R.E (Help in Reaching Employment) program and received a signed citation from Senator Darrell Weaver and Representative Kevin West.

Oklahoma ACTE Partners in Progress is an annual celebration to honor business and industry partners who work one-on-one with our Oklahoma CareerTech technology center districts. Each partner is recognized for their commitment to our technology centers and students.

Moore Norman Technology Center is pleased to highlight our impactful collaboration with Cleveland County, Oklahoma. This dynamic partnership has shaped Moore Norman’s Basic Peace Officer Certification (BPOC), Law Enforcement Driver Training (LEDT), and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training and has enabled MNTC to address critical workforce needs quickly and effectively within our communities.
