Networking and Computer Repair

Live work projects allow students in MNTC's Networking Program to practice their skills for real clients.  Students in the Networking Program offer the following services:

Virus and Malware Removal

  • Poor computer performance
  • Unwanted pop-ups
  • Suspicious computer behavior

Hardware and Operating System Installation/Upgrades

  • Install and/or upgrade customer’s operating systems with legally licensed software provided by the customer.
  • Consultation services regarding appropriate hardware upgrades for customer computers, including a list of vendors to purchase the items from and performing the installation services of the hardware.

The shop fee for these services is $20.00. If a computer issue cannot be resolved, there is no charge.

All live work is performed by students under the direction and supervision of MNTC instructors.
