Commercial Transportation Training
High-quality commercial driver & CDL training for you or your employees.
Our partnership with Central Tech allows us to utilize classroom instruction, range and road driving, and practical application of skills used in highway driving. Our ratio of only two students per truck allows each student to develop proficient driving skills. MNTC provides truck and trailer for training and testing on-site.
The course is 28 training days, 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Upon graduation, students will possess a Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a thorough working knowledge of commercial vehicle operations, air brake systems, safety practices, and Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook, “The economy depends on truck drivers to transport freight and keep supply chains moving. As the demand for goods increases, more truck drivers will be needed. Trucks transport most of the freight in the United States, so, as households and businesses increase their spending, the trucking industry should grow.”
The site also states that job prospects are projected to be good for heavy and tractor-trailer truck drivers who have proper training and a clean driving record.
The onetonline.org website lists a CDL driver’s median annual wage in Oklahoma at $45,680 with the typical basic-education requirement a high school diploma.
